Disciple has been
a long-time christian rock band. And one thing that you have to love about them, is that their not ashamed to be labeld as
CHRISTIAN! Way back in 1992, when Disciple started, there wasn't too many christian rock bands out there (MxPx also started
the same year!). When they first got signed to Warner-Resound records in 1997, they released My Daddy Can Whip Your Daddy.
Then Rugged records signed them, and they released By God and This Might Sting A Little. Then in '03, they
released an indie album Back Again, with the hit song "Back Again". Then in 2005, Christian rock record label SRE
signed them and released a self-titled album. With many listeners getting their first listen to Disciple, they gained a lot
of popularity with songs such as "Rise Up" and "The Wait Is Over". In 2006, Disciple released Scars Remain, and only
grew their popularity even more!
