-Alternative: Many blessings and congrats go to out Josh Pearson of nevertheless for his upcoming wedding this weekend!  And in true nevertheless hard-working-style, the guys are playing a show with Cartel two days before in a city 15 hours away.  Here’s hoping Josh makes it to the church on time!
 
-Rock: Fireflight is taking a much deserved break from the summer heat to record a new record.  The band will be in the studio for the month of August before the Scars Remain Tour in mid September. Look for video blogs and updates of the recording process from Fireflight on their website (www.fireflightrock.com) or their Myspace (www.myspace.com/fireflight).
 
-Hardcore: Underoath has confirmed July 17 will be the release date for their first ever DVD, 777. The DVD package includes never-before-seen footage from the band’s major 2006-2007 tours that encompass the Vans Warped Tour, Taste of Chaos International and Bamboozle Festivals as well as intimate shows spanning the last two years.
 
-Holiday: More information about Relient K's new christmas album has been released. The albums title will be Let It Snow, Baby...Let It Reindeeer. The release date will be October 23, 2007. There will 16 songs on the album (10 from their 2003 christmas album) and one hidden track. Some of the new songs will include "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas", "Sleigh Ride", "Merry Christmas, Here's To Many More", "I'm Gettin' Nuttin' For Christmas", and "Boxing Day". Also, a song off of their 2005 EP, Apathetic EP, "In Like A Lion (Always Winter)" will be on the album too.
